Tauheed Ahmad Nawaz
Nature makes its own ways. There are many things that make a person wonder how it happened. Like a seven-meter-long boulder perplex visitors how a large rock balances itself without the human force. How does this rock stand? Who set it up? Science is also confused and has no explanation. This large strange rock is called Kummakivi located in the dense forest of Ruokolahti near the border of Puumala Finland. Kummakivi is protected since 1962 without damaging its original place.
Almost 30 years ago, a pine tree started to grow on the top of the boulder. Now it has been grown so significantly. Therefore, few cracks have appeared over the years. But irregularly a campfire has been kept in the rock cavern and may have contributed to the longitudinal cracking of the rock. Some cracks are a little wide, but not too much threatening.
Researchers believe this is not the first discovery of the strange balancing rock seemingly smooth, curved mound. They believe, glaciers are the force that carries such a massive boulder and sticks on them. That could happen 10,000 years ago. When the glaciers are in full flow, their giant power can do anything like the other natural forces.
Hence, whenever you go to this part of the world, and then you are confused about what to see there. Then make a list of things to do in Finland and list down on the top of Kummakivi strange rock. This is a special place, and you would be scratch your head and love to see this natural wonder.
