This is an amazing nature wonder called Rainbow Vista. It is a multicolored rock situated in the Valley of Fire. Its natural colors are so amazing during sunset. The Nevada State Park sign states, “Rainbow Vista: You can observe across 150 million years. The great maze of canyons, towers, domes, ridges, and beautiful valleys before you is carved from sand deposited at that time when dinosaurs walked on the earth.
This is wild, virtually untouched wilderness. It is an ‘Adventure in Color’ for you to experience by car and on foot. The enormous maze of valleys, peaks, towers, and canyons that is unfolding in front of you is a result of the sand that dinosaurs left behind when they roamed the planet.
This is unspoiled, untamed wilderness. Once you pass a monolith on your right, you’ll see a sizable group of formations that resemble towers made of wet sand, similar to what you might build when building a beach castle.
