Shahi Bagh is a mesmerizing tourist spot located about 30 kilometers from Kalam and 14 kilometers from Utror, the nearest town. It is a stunning combination of lush green fields and cold running water. Shahi Bagh sits beautifully amid the high mountains at a height of 10,000 feet. Although this location is worth seeing, the route going there is hazardous and constrained, only suitable for Jeeps and four-by-four vehicles.
From Utror, the distance is between 1.30 and 1.45 minutes, while from Kalam city, it takes 2:30 to 2:45 hours. Moreover, the last village before Shahi Bagh is Gabral, 10 kilometers, which takes 1 hour. The entire road is extremely rugged, consisting of big stones. In fact, you can say no road. The travel is extremely difficult as you have to hire a Jeep from Kalam or Utror. Don’t go in your vehicle. Many tourist wonder why the government does not build appropriate roads to these locations
The sight of paradise on earth is provided by the peaceful streams that encircle the high-rise peaks and birch trees. It appears to be a little island where one can rejuvenate their mind and spirit in a relaxing setting. The most prominent peak, Thalo Zom Peak (19,849 feet), is located on the north of Shahi Bagh.
Shahi Bagh natural beauty makes you speechless, as it cannot be expressed in words. An alluring and enticing landscape is truly a unique travel experience in Pakistan. Beautiful landscapes and roaring rivers provide a striking view along the route. You can find permanent serenity and contentment here in the lovely surroundings.
The Shahi Bagh is the ideal tourist destination. There are several activities in the valley, like fishing, boating, camping, bird watching, photography, barbeque, and relaxing sounds. The best time to travel to Shahi Bagh is in June, July, August, and September. The valley is covered with dense snow in the winter months. To experience the valley’s natural splendor, you will not find a better place in Swat.
Even though there may be difficulties getting to the captivating site due to poor roads, the sight of the spot will undoubtedly win your heart, and you will quickly forget the difficulties you encountered getting there. The Daryal Hotel is among the greatest lodging options close to Shahi Bagh. The sun can harm one’s body by blistering their facial features, particularly around the nose, where it begins to burn first. When visiting KPK, you should stop at Shahi Bagh to relish the fascinating ambiance and lovely meadows. Remember, there is no hotel there, only a few canteens offering tea, biscuits, cold drinks, pakoras, biryani, and chicken karahi with a high price.
You will enjoy the relaxing water sounds standing on the wooden bridge, the only bridge to enter the lush green fields of Shahid Bagh. Moreover, birch trees are adding picturesque beauty to this place. Here we would recommend to everyone to pay the visit Shahi Bagh along with other main tourist spots, i.e., Mahodand Lake, Saifullah Lake, Naseerullah Lake, Palogah Valley, Chasme-e-Shifa, Abshar Point, and Ushu Forest. In fact, Swat offers us a plethora of captivating locations to discover and appreciate the immense natural beauty that exists there.
