Whitehaven Beach – A Magical Heaven on Earth

Whitehaven Beach is a lovely 7-kilometer stretch along Whitsunday Island in Queensland, Australia. The White Sandy Beach is reachable by boat from the mainland tourist ports of Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour, as well as Hamilton Island.
This is popular for its white sand beach; the sand comprises 98% pure silica which gives it a bright white color. At the northern end of Whitehaven Beach is Hill Inlet a spectacular cove where the tide shifts the sand and water to create a striking fusion of colors.
As the tide shifts, the white silica sand and turquoise shades of the inlet blend seamlessly to create a magnificent view of swirling Whitsunday colors. According to the official Tourism Board for Whitsunday Island, the best view journey to the lookout is at Tongue Point on Whitsunday Island.
The time your lookout experience on low tide to fully experience the beautiful fusion of colors that surface. For bare boats, the best spot to anchor is in Tongue Bay, and tender into the beach to begin the short walk up the hill to the lookout across Hill Inlet. The Whitehaven Beach and back down the other side to secluded Betty’s Beach, at the tip of Hill Inlet.
In 1879 The staff commander EP Bedwell discovered this beach and named it White Haven. it’s an enjoyable beach with clear waters and white sand. It is necessary to bring you a tent or go with a company that provides one as there is no natural shade despite the green you see in the photos.
But indeed this is paradise beach & incredible never as beautiful as this one. There is no freshwater etc available on the beach, so make sure you bring what you need! There are several noteworthy honors for white haven beach and have been widely recognized and awarded.
