Landscape Arch is a natural arch that can be found in Arches National Park, Utah, United States. This natural rock arch is among the longest arches in the world. A number of archways can be found in the Devils Garden area in the north of the park. No matter which way you look at it, the landscape arch is an awesome sight. The width of the stone arch is supported by the delicate, slender center.
There are exciting and breathtaking sights to be found in Devil’s Garden for sightseers, hikers, and thrill seekers. Fins form when rainwater erodes parallel fractures caused by salt deposits rising to the surface, resulting in arches, spires, and a large concentration of narrow rock walls.
Landscape Arch was named by Frank Beckwith, who led an Arches National Monument scientific expedition in 1933–1934. He explored the area thoroughly.
It is possible to reach the arch by walking 0.8 miles (1.3 kilometers) along a gravel trail. It’s a nice trail with paved surfaces, a wide width, and a level surface. Several of the area’s most spectacular structures are accessible from a Primitive Loop Trail, which leads from Landscape Arch. There are toilets at the trailhead all year round. In spring and fall, you can get drinking water. Several hiking options are available at this trailhead, from easy to strenuous.

It is the fifth longest natural arch in the world, following four arches in China, according to the Natural Arch and Bridge Society (NABS). A span of 88.4 m and a height of 77.5 ft were measured at Landscape Arch in 2004. Kolob Arch has a slightly shorter span of 287 feet, as measured by the NABS in 2006. Several pieces of the Landscape Arch have broken off over the centuries, some of them larger than automobiles. Despite its thinness and delicate appearance, it is incredibly photogenic.
Due to accurate measurements of a handful of Chinese arches, it was not able to set a world record. Fairy Bridge (Xian Ren Qiao) is the world’s longest natural bridge, built by the Buliu River in Guangxi Province through limestone karst.
In the 1990s, a large slab fell in 1991 and then two additional large rockfalls occurred in 1995. Trails beneath the arch have been closed due to rockfalls. In the blue skies above Arches National Park, Landscape Arch is a natural bridge formed by sandstone spanning.
